Ingredients:  
1-2 lbs. Italian sausage
3 carrots, diced
1 onion, diced
4 cloves garlic
3 quarts chicken broth
2 14 1/2 oz. cans diced tomatoes
2 15 oz. cans cannellini beans (white kidney beans)
1 Tablespoon basil (dried)
2 cups pasta (shell or whatever you like)
1 bag fresh spinach
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Break up sausage into small pieces. Cook sausage. Add carrot, onion, and garlic. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes. Add chicken broth, tomatoes, beans, and basil. Bring to a boil. Add pasta. When pasta is cooked add spinach. Serve with Parmesan cheese and (if you like spice) red pepper flakes.
