1/2 cup molasses
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup boiling water
1 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup cranberries

Glorious Sauce:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cream

Add soda to molasses in a bowl. Stir in boiling water. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to molasses mixture and fold in cranberries.

Grease a mold or can and pour in batter. Cover can with pot top. Place mold on a rack in a covered pot of boiling water. Water should come half way up the can. Cover (continue boiling) and steam for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Cool, un-mold pudding and store in a plastic bag in freezer.

Stir together in top of double boiler for 15 minutes. Serve over steamed pudding.
