1 lb. pkg light or dark brown sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
2/3 C evaporated milk
1 12 oz. pkg semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 71/2 oz. jar marshmallow cream
1 t. vanilla extract
i c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 13x9 in. or 9x9 in pan. Set aside. Combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk in a 3 qt. saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to completely blend all ingredients. Continue boiling 5 min. over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate pieces until melted. Add marshmallow cream, extract and nuts. Stir vigorously until well blended. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Cool at room temp. Cut into 1 inch squares.
