Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 potatoes (we prefer Yukon or baking potatoes)
6 sweet potatoes
About 1 pint whipping cream
1-2 cups Parmesan or Gruyere cheese (The Gruyere gives it a better flavor, but the Parmesan works fine too.)

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and thinly slice potatoes and sweet potatoes. Arrange on a baking pan so they are just slightly overlapping, and fill the pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour cream over top of the whole pan, and top with cheese. Broil on lower rack until potatoes are soft, approximately 20 minutes. Move to the upper rack just long enough to broil the cheese.

Personal Notes:
This recipe is from a family friend who does catering. It is definitely not one of my healthier recipes, but it is absolutely delicious, easy, and really impresses dinner guests!
