1 cup butter or margarine 1/2 lb. very fine noodles 2 cups instant rice 2 cans onion soup 2 cans chicken broth 1 tsp. soy sauce 1 cup water 1 - 8 oz. can water chestnuts (drained & sliced)
Melt butter in large skillet or pot. Add uncooked noodles and cook until lightly browned, stirring frequently. Add uncooked rice and remaining ingredients. Mix well. Turn into 3 quart casserole dish and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
