Ingredients:  
1 cup butter - 1/2 marg. 1/2 butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
Salt
Vanilla or Almond
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well. Make into balls. Press down. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Makes 40.
