30 ozs canned pineapple chunks
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
12 slices fresh bread (I used a few more slices and cut off the crust
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 3-quart casserole. Tear bread into chunks and mix with drained pineapple. Place this mixture in casserole. Melt butter and mix well with sugar and beaten eggs. Pour over pineapple mixture. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. May be prepared a day ahead. Cover and refrigerate until ready to bake.
