2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk - If you don't have buttermilk you can mix 1 tsp. of vinegar to 1/2 c. milk
3 ripe bananas mashed
1/2 c. chopped pecan nuts
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, eggs and shortening. Add the dry ingredients and mix well. Add nuts. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans and bake at 325 for 45 minutes or until done.
