1 lb. beef boneless sirloin steak, 1 garlic clove, 1 T veg. oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2/3 c. beef broth, 1 T cornstarch, 2 T. water, 1 T. soy sauce, 1 tsp ground ginger, 1 package frozen snow pea pods, thawed.

Cut beef into 2 inch. strips, then cut the strips across the grain into 1/4 inch slices. Peel and chop garlic. If serving on rice cook according to package. Meanwhile in a frying pan cook beef & garlic -stirring constantly till brown. Sprinkle salt and pepper, add broth, heat to boil. Mix cornstarch, water, add to meat along with soy-sauce till thickens and boils. Stir in ginger & pea-pods, cook uncovered until pea pods are cooked to desired amount. Serve over rice.
