Ingredients:  
1-1/2 c. Rhubarb (pour boiling hot water on it, let stand 2 minutes, then drain)
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1-1/2 c. flour
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt or less
3/4 tsp. baking powder

Sauce:
1-1/2 c. rhubarb
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. flour
1/2 c. margarine (oleo)

Directions:

Cake:
Mix ingredients together. Bake in 9-inch pan on 350 for 1 hour.
Sauce:
Cook on top of stove until rhubarb falls apart and sauce thickens.
