Ingredients:  
1 qt. of milk
2 c. bread cubes
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins
1 c. sliced apples

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk, add butter, bread cubes. Mix beaten eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla. Add to milk. Add raisins and apples. Pour into casserole. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place casserole in baking pan with hot water. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
