Ingredients:  
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt

2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift (or not) dry ingredients and stir in to mixture. Chill dough. Roll into balls about the size of walnut, and roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 400 for 8-12 minutes. Bake until lightly browned but still soft.
