1 cup margarine or butter
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups chopped walnuts or pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In a large saucepan over very low heat, melt margarine or butter and chocolate, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Cool slightly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until well blended after each one. Stir in vanilla, flour and salt. Stir in nuts. Pour into a greased 9X13 pan. Bake 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool brownies in pan before cutting. Makes about 2 dozen brownies. Great with or without frosting.
