Crust
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts

Cream Cheese Mixture
1/3 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Crust
Cream butter and brown sugar, add flour and nuts. Mix until a crumbly mixture is formed. Reserve about 1/2 c. for top. Press remaining mixture into the bottom of a 8 square baking pan. Bake at 350 for about 12 min. or until light gold color.

Cream Cheese Mixture
Blend sugar with cream cheese until smooth. Beat egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Add to cream cheese mixture. Beat well. Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup reserved crust mixture. Bake at 350 for 25 min. Cool thoroughly, before cutting into 1 inch squares.
