2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced into eighths
2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls, separated into triangles
1-1/2 sticks butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
8 oz. carbonated soda (Mountain Dew, Sprite, 7-up)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish. Wrap each apple slice with crescent roll triangle and place in dish. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add sugars and pumpkin pie spice. Increase heat to boil and boil and stir for one minute. Pour mixture over apple slices. Pour carbonated soda over top. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with a dollop of ice cream.
