1 stick Margarine
1 1/2 c. Sugar
2 Eggs
3/4 c. Sour Milk or Buttermilk (add 1 tsp soda)
2 small Ripe Bananas - crushed fine
2 c. Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
pinch of Salt
1/2 c. Chopped Walnuts (if desired)

Directions:

Preheat over to 350 (325 for glass pans)

Cream margarine with sugar and eggs. Combine flour with baking powder and salt. Alternate with sour milk which has the soda added to it. Finally, add the crushed bananas and be sure they are beaten well into the mixture. I use my electric mixer.

NOTE: If it looks like too much mixture for one loaf pan, put the remainder of the batter in a small aluminum tin.
