1 small onion (chopped)
1 large carrot (chopped)
2 stalks celery (chopped)
5 c. fresh broccoli (chopped)
5 oz. egg noodles (very thin)
5 c. chicken broth
2 c. cooked chicken (chopped)
4 T. flour
4 T. butter
4 c. milk
1 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine onion, celery and carrot with 1 c. chicken broth and cook in a very large covered boiler about 10 min. Add 4 c. of chicken broth and bring to a boil, add noodles and cook on med. heat for about 8 min. Add chopped chicken, broccoli and salt. Cook about 5 min. or until very hot and flavors begin to blend. Melt butter in a med. sauce pan, add flour and mix well. Add milk gradually and heat until very warm, stirring occasionally. Add to soup mixture and cook on low heat for about 30 min. This soup is very thick and will need to be stirred occasionally.
