4 c. peeled & sliced peaches
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cold water
vanilla ice cream

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange peaches in a greased baking dish. In a separate bowl, combine butter & 1/2 cup of sugar. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour & baking powder. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Pour over peaches & sprinkle with remaining sugar. Pour cold water over the top & bake for 35-40 minutes at 350F. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
