3/4c port 1/4c chicken broth shallots or 4 cloves garlic 1tbsp butter 1/2tbsp flour olive oil
Slice shallots or crush garlic (or both if you like) and saute in olive oil. When they start to brown, add broth/port mix. Cook down to a half cup and add butter thickener. Cook until thick. Spoon over whatever you've made.
Goes very well over peppercorn steak. I'm thinking a dallop of honey would go well in this.
