1 (16 oz) box Rice Chex
1 1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine Chex cereal, almonds and coconut in a very large mixing bowl. Set aside.
Combine butter, corn syrup and sugar in a medium saucepan.
Cook and stir over medium-high heat until mixture reaches 235º (soft ball stage).
Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and baking soda.
Pour candy mixture over cereal mixture. Stir until well combined.
Spread on wax paper to cool.
Sore cooled candy in an airtight container.

Microwave Directions:
Combine butter, corn syrup and sugar in a microwave safe glass bowl. Microwave on high 5 minutes.
Stir.
Microwave 5-10 minutes longer until mixture reaches soft ball stage.
Add soda and baking soda; stir.
Pour over cereal and coat well.
