1/4 c butter softened, 1/4 c shortening, 3/4 c sugar, 1 egg, 1 1/4 c plus 2 tbsp flour, 1 tsp cream of tartar, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/8 tsp salt, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat over to 400. Thoroughly mix butter, shortening, sugar and egg. Blend in flour, tartar, baking soda and salt. Wrap dough in wax paper and chill. Mix cinnamon and sugar. Shape dough by rounded teaspoons into balls. Roll balls in cinnamon sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Immediately remove from baking sheet.
