1 tbsp. cornstarch 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 c. water pinch of salt 3 egg whites 6 more tbsp. sugar
Mix cornstarch and 2 tbsp. sugar with 1/2 cup of water. Cook together until clear. Set aside until cool. Add a little bit of salt to 3 egg whites and whip until foamy or standing in peaks, at which time you add the cooled mixture. Continue beating until creamy. Pile on pie and bake 30 minutes at 325º until golden brown.
