1 cup sugar
2 tsp. melted butter
2 eggs
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
3 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Nutmeg and vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar and butter. Add the eggs and mix well. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pat out on a floured pastry cloth and cut. Fry in deep fat.
