2 lbs. tenderized round steak 1/2 cup flour salt and pepper to taste 1/3+ cup oil 1 cup water
Cut steak into serving size. Salt, pepper and flour. Put oil in fry pan and heat to frying. Put steaks in oil and brown. Take out steaks. Stir and sprinkle a little flour in grease, and brown. Do not have to hot or it will burn. Pour (about 1 cup) water into browned flour and stir. Put steaks back in. Put lid over pan and turn heat to low. Simmer until tender. You may need to add a little water while simmering. Stir frequently.
