6 1/2 lb. (about) fresh pork shoulder (fresh picnic)
3 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
3 1/2 c. vinegar
2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 c. water
6 stalks celery, sliced
2 large onions, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Rub salt and pepper on meat. Put 1 sliced onion in bottom of crockpot, seasoned meat on top, ten 1 sliced onion on top of meat. Mix together vinegar, cayenne pepper, water and celery. Pour mixture over top and cook about 12 hours on "low" setting. Shred meat and remove fat and bone. Mix juice with shredded meat. Put barbecue on hamburger onion rolls, sprinkle top with a tiny bit of Texas Pete, serve with cole slaw.

I always use Concord Foods Coleslaw Mix (dry) in plastic bag and follow package directions (found in produce dept. - cheaper at WalMart.
