1/2 c. margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
5 c. apples, peeled and chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 T. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Beat margarine at medium speed with mixer. Gradually add 2 c. sugar, beat well. Add eggs 1 at a time, beat after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in apples and vanilla. Spoon batter into a greased and floured 13x9x2" pan. Combine 1 1/2 T. sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over cake batter. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until a wooden pick in center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold
