1 1/3 cups flour, divided
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup dried apricots, chopped
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 cup flour with sugar. Cut in butter. Press firmly in bottom of 9X9 pan. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes. In small bowl, blend 1/3 cup flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In separate bowl, beat eggs with vanilla. Add brown sugar. Stir in flour mixture, apricots and nuts. Spread evenly over layer in pan. Return to oven and bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Cool before cutting. Makes 2 dozen.
