1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Coat the sides of an 8" square pan with cooking spray and line the bottom with parchment paper. Combine the sugar, vanilla and egg in a mixing bowl, stirring until smooth. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl. Add this to the sugar mixture, stirring well. Stir in the walnuts. Scrape the better into the prepared pan. Bake for 18-20 min. until lightly golden. Let cool in the pan before cuting. Makes 2 doz. squares.
