2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/4 lb. butter
Pinch salt
3 cups uncooked oatmeal
1 cup chopped nuts
Raisins or Cran-Raisins (as much as desired)
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Measure oatmeal and nuts into a large mixing bowl. Set aside. Combine sugar, cocoa, milk, butter and salt in heavy sauce pan, stirring often - bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute stirring constantly. Pour over oatmeal and nuts, add vanilla and mix well.
Drop by spoonful on to wax paper. Let set until cool and firm.
