8 large apples , cored, chopped
1/2 c packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. margarine or butter
1/8-1/4 t cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat margarine and brown sugar in heavy skillet over medium hear stirring constantly until melted. Stir in apples. Cook20-25 min. stirring frequently until syrup thickens and apples can be easily pierced with a fork.
OR
Melt margarine and sugar in microwave . Stir. Pour over apples in a baking dish. Stir to mix. Cover and bake at 375 till apples are easily pierced.
