1 egg
1/2c milk
1T crisco oil melted
1 1/2 cooked whole kernel corn, drained
1 c flour
1 T sugar
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
Crisco oil for deep frying

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg with milk
stir in oil (I usually do not add this)
Add combined dry ingredients
Add corn (apples may be used instead)
Drop from T into oil heated at 365 and fry for about 4 minutes.
Drain on paper towel

May be served topped with powder sugar or maple syrup
