4 egg yolks
6 egg whites
1/2 c lime juice
1/4 c sugar
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks until lemon colored, blend in condensed milk - slowly add lime juice, salt and mix well, add cream of tartar to egg whites and beat until foamy - continue beating adding sugar one tsp at a time until egg whites peak - fold six tablespoons of the meringue into the filling mixture. Pour into a 9 inch baked pie shell top with remaining meringue sealing edges carefully. Bake in a slow oven 350 until golden brown.
