1 lb. chicken 1-2 lbs. sausage 1-2 onions 4 garlic cloves 5 cups water 1 T. salt small can tomato paste 1/8 teas. cayenne pepper 3 bay leaves 1/2 teas. Old Bay 2 cups brown rice 1 lb. raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
Using a large pot with a small amount of oil, saute chicken, sausage, onions and garlic until meat is nearly done. Add 5 cups water, salt, tomato paste, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Add rice and shrimp. Simmer until done. Top with green onions. Delicious!
