2 cups flour
1 teas. salt
1 teas. sugar
3 teas. baking powder
1/3 cup oil
2/3 cup buttermilk or milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Stir in oil and milk. Pat dough out on floured surface and cut into circles with biscuit cutter or upside-down glass. Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes. (A stoneware pan works best.) Makes about 6 biscuits.

Make these into blueberry biscuits by adding 1/2 cup sugar and 1 cup blueberries. They run together some but taste wonderful - especially with some 10X sugar icing on top!
