1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

4 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. pitted sweet dark cherries cut in half (or 1 c. canned plums cut up)
1/4 c. cherry juice (or plum juice)
1 beaten egg
1 tsp soda dissolved in 1 tbsp. boiling water
1 c. nut meats chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Sift sugar, flour and salt together. Add other ingredients. Stir together and back in a greased 9 x 13 pan (or larger). It need to be baked thin. Bake 30 minutes in a 350 oven. Ice the pudding while hot with your favorite brown sugar icing. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
