Cream: 2 c. brown sugar, 1 c. butter, 2 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla.
Add: 2 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. salt, 3 c. oatmeal, mix and set aside.

Fudge Nut Filling: 1 12 oz. chocolate chips, 1 can Eagle brand condensed milk. Melt in microwave, Add 2 T. butter 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. salt, 1 c. chopped nuts.

Spread part of oatmeal mixture on 15 x 18 1/2 cookie sheet. Cover with chocolate mixture. Dot with remain oatmeal mixture. Press down oatmeal mixture into fudge with fingers. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
