2 c. sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla, 2 tsp. lemon juice, 4 eggs, 2 c. mashed bananas, 3 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. baking soda, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 c. sour cream, 1 c. chopped nuts.

Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla and lemon juice, add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add bananas. Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder. Add alternately with sour cream to banana mixture. Fold in nuts. Pour into two greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 50 -60 minutes
