1 lb lean ground beef (or venison)
1 pkg taco seasoning (preferably hot)
1/2 to 1 head iceberg lettuce
1-2 ripe summer tomatoes
red onion, sliced
1 can black olives, pitted
1 jar chunky medium salsa
2 ripe avocados, diced
8 oz shredded cheddar (or Mexican cheese mix)
Doritos, 1 bag
sliced jalapeņos (optional)
sour cream (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Break up the iceberg lettuce into a large salad bowl. Add sliced red onion, diced tomato, black olives, jalapeņos (if using), salsa and avocados. Put the Dorito chips on top and sprinkle the cheese over. Prepare ground beef according to package directions on the taco mix. Pour the hot ground beef mixture over the salad and toss. Serve with sour cream on the side.

Depending on how much lettuce, tomatoes, and chips you use, you could serve an army. To make a smaller portion, use half a head of lettuce, 1 large tomato and half a bag of chips.
