1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. soda (half in milk, half in flour)
2 c. unbleached flour
1 1/2 c. rhubarb

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and egg, add milk, oil, vanilla, flour, soda and rhubarb. Before baking mix 1/4 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Sprinkle over top of cake. Bake 30 minutes in a 350 oven. Cool and you can store in the fridge.
