3-4 T butter
4 large onions thinly sliced
2 tsp flour
1 1/2 tsp Worchestershire
6-8 beef bouillon cubes
4 C water
Toasted French bread
Swiss cheese or Gruyere

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in butter, sprinkle with flour and W. sauce. Dissolve cubes in water and add. Simmer for four hours. Place toasted bread in bottom of individual ovenproof serving dishes, add soup, cover with cheese. Place under hot broiler for a minute or two.
