"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:
Noodles:
4 Lg. Eggs
3 Cups Flour
1 1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/4 Cup Milk

Casserole:
6 Chicken Breast (cooked and cut into bite size pieces) or use a Rotisserie Chicken
2 (14 oz.) Cans Swanson Chicken Broth
2 Tbsp. Flour
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Noodles:
With an electric mixer beat eggs slightly. Add the flour, salt and milk. Mix until all flour is incorporated and you have a very thick dough. (it will be very sticky) Divide dough into 4 equal parts. Roll out on a floured surface. You will need to use a lot of flour when working with the dough. Try to roll dough as thin as possible. When you have it as thin as you can, sprinkle it with flour and fold into thirds. Cut into thin strips (less than 1/4 inch) When you have the strips cut, pick them up to separate them and set them on wax paper while you work with the rest of the dough. When you have all the noodles cut (keep fluffing them with your fingers so they don't stick together) put them in a large pan of boiling water. Cook for about 5 minutes.
Casserole:
Put the cooked noodles into a casserole dish and
add the chicken. Take 1 can of the chicken broth (saving out 1/4 cup) and put it into a small saucepan. Mix the reserved 1/4 cup broth with the 2 tbsp. flour. When the broth in the saucepan comes to a boil, stir in the flour mixture and stir until it thickens up. (just a few minutes). Pour hot broth over the casserole. Add salt and pepper to taste. Make sure you use more pepper than salt. You will need to stir and taste until you get the right amount of seasoning. Add about 1/2 of the second can of broth to the noodles. Put casserole in the oven and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. If the casserole is to dry add the rest of the chicken broth.
Note: When cooking your noodles, add chicken broth to the water. The noodles will have much more flavor
