1/4- cup butter,
1/2- cup sugar
1- cup flour,
2- tsp. baking powder,
1/4- tsp. salt
1/2- cup milk,
1- quart peaches.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar. Add flour, baking powder, & salt. Stir in milk to make batter. Pour batter in baking dish. Pour juice off peaches & reserve liquid.Add enough water to juice to make 1 cup liquid & add 1/3 cup sugar to it. Pour peaches over batter and now pour juice mixture over all and bake at 375 for approx 50 minutes.
