3 C cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
3 eggs, separated
1/2-1 C sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4-1/2 C melted butter
2 C milk

Topping mixture:
1/2 C brown sugar
3 T melted butter
1/3 C chopped pecans

Combine sweet potatoes with beaten egg yolks, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, melted butter and milk. Beat the egg white til stiff and fold into potato mixture. Pour into 2 qt baking dish. Cover with topping mixture and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
