Crab Cakes:
1 Lg. Egg
8 oz. Crab Meat
8 oz. Shrimp Meat
2 Green Onions (chopped)
1 Cup Ritz Crackers (crushed)
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
Dash Tabasco
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1/4 Tsp. Dry Mustard
1 Tbsp. Butter
1 Tbsp. Oil

Red Pepper Sauce:
1 Red Pepper (roasted)
2 Cloves Garlic (minced)
1 Tsp. Vinegar
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1 Cup Mayonnaise
Note: If you don't have time to roast the red pepper, you can purchase a jar of roasted red peppers. You will not need to use the whole jar.

Crab Cakes:
Beat egg and add everything else except butter and oil. Shape into 8 cakes about 1/2 inch thick.
Put 1/2 the butter and 1/2 the oil in a fry pan and cook 4 crab cakes at a time for about 4 minutes per side. Add the remaining butter and oil and cook the remaining cakes. Serve with red pepper sauce.

Red Pepper Sauce:
To roast pepper: Place pepper on grill and cook over medium heat until pepper is soft and the outside is black. Place in cold water and peel off the skin. Slice into strips.
Place all sauce ingredients including pepper into a food processor and blend until smooth. Serve over crab cakes.
Note: A hand blender works great for this.
