6 eggs
1/2 lb. of margarine
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
3 c. sifted plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 c. sweet milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, shortening & sugar until fluffy and light.
Add flavoring and blend well.
Add eggs - one at a time and blend

Mix flour, salt, baking powder.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk

Bake 1 hr. & 30 min. at 325

Cool in pan in normal position 10 min.
