"When I'm at a Chinese restaurant having a hard time with chopsticks, I always hope that there's a Chinese kid at an American restaurant somewhere who's struggling mightily with a fork."--Rick Budinich
This recipe for Sunshine Ice Tea, by Micki Clark, is from The Rice Family Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Did you know the sun can cook? All you need is a clean quart size mason jar or an empty juice bottle. Put 2 tea bags into the jar. Add water to the top. Screw on the lid and place the jar outside where it will be in the sun all day long.
By evening you will have a jar of sparkling clear unclouded tea, all ready to pour over ice cubes.
