Frozen meatballs (or made from scratch if desired), 3 per person per sandwich - total of 48 meatballs for 16 sandwiches is needed
16 small hoagie buns, unsplit or top split hot dog buns
1 - 16 oz jar of pizza sauce
1 - 16 oz package of shredded mozzarella

Cooking spray

At home:

Put meatballs into zip top bag.

In camp:
Warm meatballs in large non-stick skillet sprayed with cooking spray.

Warm pizza sauce in small pot.

For each sandwich:
Split rolls on top if needed.
Add three meatballs.
Top with 1 oz pizza sauce and 1 oz shredded mozzarella.

Spray foil with cooking spray. Add completed sandwich. Wrap up and place on hot coals, grill, or camp stove on a griddle. Warm for about 5 minutes.

Serves 8, with 2 sandwiches per person
