Explorer Lasagna 1 lb ground beef 1 cup minced onions 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tbsp parsley flakes 1 tsp basil 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 lb can tomatoes 2 6 oz cans tomato paste 10 oz pkg lasagna noodles 3 cups cottage cheese 2 beaten eggs 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese 1 lb mozzarella cheese
Brown ground beef, pour off fat. Add next 7 ingredients and simmer approximately 45 min (until sauce is thick). Stir occasionally. Cook noodles- rinse in cold water. Combine cottage cheese with beaten eggs. Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Place half the noodles in a 13x9x2 dish. Spread 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture over; add 1/2 mozzarella cheese and half of the meat sauce. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese. Bake for 40 min at 350.
