2 eggs,
1/2 c. sugar,
pinch of salt.
1 tsp. cinnamon,
1/4 tsp. each nutmeg and ginger,
1/8 tsp cloves,
grated rind of 1 lemon,
21/2 c. sweetened applesauce,
1 c. thin cream,

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, add sugar and spices. Combine applesauce and cream, mix and add to egg mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 25 min. at 450, then 35 min. at 350.
