2 pounds asparagus, trimmed, rinsed and dried
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 orange or lemon, halved crosswise
1 1/2 T. snipped fresh chives, for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Toss asparagus in a bowl with the oil, salt and pepper: grill over high heat, turning as they brown, 7 to 8 min. Remove to a platter. Drizzle with any oil remaining in the bowl: lightly squeeze the orange or lemon over all. Sprinkle with chives and serve
